My Sources

Thanks for visiting my LSW study guide! When I registered to take the Exam (a whopping $175), they asked me if I would like to purchase their study guide for another $30. No thanks, I'm still spinning from that $175 fee and the possibility that if I do not pass it, I will have to pay it again! I thought, 'surely there is free study material on the internet... everything can be found on the internet!' I was so wrong.

I will be focusing primarily on human behavior and development theories and intervention models because this makes of the bulk of the test.

I will be citing the textbook my information came from, and making it clear when something is a direct quote. Study on!

Chels,
I am taking my test on Thursday! I am so nervous, but I want to let you know I just found your blog and looking through it, you are a life saver! I graduated with my MSW in 1997 and never took my licensing exam! So now I am trying to take it 12 years after being out of school! Your blog/website is so helpful! Thank you so much for all your work on it and that is so awsome you passed! Congrats!!! I hope I pass too. This will be my last and final attempt! I have failed several times. I hope I finally pass! I am upset my professors never told us that licensing was so important. None of my professor talked about it in class at all! Most of my classmates already had a license. I was so upset when I found out several years later!

I can't believe it because I think it's a perfect business because we have to pay for different manuals before making the text.

I'm taking my LSW exam on Saturday. I obtained my BSW in 2004 & have worked in the SW field ever since. I have my MS in HR Development. I'm also a Hoosier and am able to take the LSW because of paid supervised post-undergraduate work. Studying is overwhelming to say the least. Your blog is at my level of understanding and has been helpful along with the study guide I purchased. The main difference for me is the DSM-5 (ick)
